Grit, Bugs, Bone
These are all things I have grown accustomed to finding in my food. They hardly detract from the experience because they are commonplace and expected. Of course, I wasn’t too uptight when I found them in my food in the US. But I’d say these things show up much more often here. For example: I only had two meals today but my orange juice had an ant in it and my fried rice had a bite of grit and then a big gristly bone.

don't forget staples and pieces of plastic (the top wrapper of the kecap manis bottle, to be exact)
